I have always wanted to try one of these, and I finally
got my hands on one thanks to Blake, fca_blake70. Brother, I really
appreciated it. This smoke was worth the wait. But the problem is that I
love this cigar and this is a pricey one. About $30.00 a stick and exclusively
sold at Casa Fuente in Las Vegas.

The cap was a smooth and beautiful, The Camaroon wrapper, smooth, firm to
the touch, and very oily. Of course, I used my double
guillotine to get a straight cut to reveal the same construction and
mix of tobacco as the foot.
As I lit my cigar, I had my first taste revealing an earthy flavor with
citrus. The burn was uneven but self corrected quickly and my first ash
was light gray. As I progressed into the first portion, I could taste the
complexity of this wonderful cigar. I noticed hints of what tasted like
cinnamon or nutmeg flavor with wood undertones. I started to get a hint of
coffee for a while and the ash started to grow, still a nice gray and very
sturdy. The smoke was dense and the flavor enjoyable.
As I entered the second third, I tasted hints of a floral, almost a creamy
taste caressing my tongue. The burn was perfect and the ash would not let
go.
Entering the last third, the ash was still hanging on. It was over three
inches before falling off in my lap. Somehow, with this fine smoke, I
didn't mind. I continued, and it just kept getting better. I noticed that
getting close to the end, it was back to a citrus flavor with hints of
spice. It had finished like a pro.
I highly recommend this cigar. A genuine treat for the pallet. Definitely
worth trying, even at $30.00. |
